Touring the world to play music has been an honor and an education for Shane and Evan, who come from small-town Pennsylvania. The songs* on this album spill over from observing the world as the wheels of the bus go round and round. The Soundsylvanians have nurtured senses of wonder and reverence for cultures around the globe; this has in turn caused them to turn an investigative eye on their country of origin.

* "Diamond Shoes" is a tune that Shane and Evan used to play years ago at shows in high school auditoriums with their old band, Unicorn Valley, before bassist Bum Bum (Katie K) fell in love and moved away to Mexico.
